"I Am/Father-Mother"
oil painting - 40"X 40" 7/2011 This painting is the central piece of the triptych which looks at the masculine/feminine interaction in the Spiritual. It represents that which is beyond the duality, and yet is also defined by it , the actual focus of it's expression - the Bliss state. Images represented are Yab/Yum (Father/Mother) - the "absolute unification of all duality" - an astounding concept, at the center top. At the bottom center is Ardhanari, the union of Shiva and Shakti in one God-state. The two central triangles show their coming together in the Heart, or Anahata chakra. All other symbols, from many different spiritual paths, are unlimited by sexual duality. |
