Meditation is an important tool for the spiritual Seeker. As has been said: "Look outside, and dream! Look inside, and awaken!".  We sit at the center of an experience of Life which is entirely different to each person. When we are defined by our external world, we are limited in potential, because we can only be that which already exists. By 'going within', we discover an entire world of Self, which is separate from that outside world. All creative peoples have had an internal, meditative aspect to their creativity, taking from within, and then delivering without. Meditation is also a tool for contact with the Divine. It's when we step aside, and let the Light shine through us, that our true potential can be made manifest, and Meditation gives us access to this higher aspect of our Selves.
