Don't give up hope, my friends, when it seems that all is lost. As the Buddha said - "Life on Earth is equated with suffering". Matter is just energy slowed down. Every night is followed by a day. Einstein said that nothing on Earth just ends - everything evolves into something else. The belief in reincarnation frees one up, (it's the only thing I've ever heard that makes sense!) to concentrate on bigger things, like the Evolution of your Soul, rather than just the egoic determination to "make it at all costs". When you know that you've been a man and a woman, you've been rich and poor, you've been a slave and a master, you've been black, white, yellow, spotted, for all I know - well, it kinda opens up your heart, just a little.   Right?     Life is Eternal.
